The story behind the artwork

Once again, I look to the nudibranchs for inspiration. In this study I am especially looking at how they interact with one another. When they twist together it is often difficult to know where one creature ends and another begins. This intersection reveals the red underbelly of one creature which has the uncanny likeness of a kidney bean.
