The story behind the artwork

A botanical piece, this painting is also inspired by my exploration of Yoga. Flow marks the beginning of a yoga-inspired series which explores natural forms as they relate to the yoga themes of energy, balance, and well-being. See also bodhi.

Omitting black and darker values from my palette helps express a sense of energy eminating from within.
