story behind the artwork
I painted pearl when I was trying to get pregnant. I had just started seeing a fertility specialist as it had been over a year of trying without success. Shortly after I completed pearl, and just before starting my fertility treatments, I became pregnant! This was my first attempt at using visualization techniques to influence future events.
