The story behind the artwork

Like the folds of a leaf or flower these shapes are layered and voluminous. When I observe a fold in a leaf or petal up close it seems to take on a the properties of a landscape. I see mountains and valleys and deep dark canyons. A lot of my themes are interconnected and I think that reveals a simple truth about nature's interconnections.
