About Studio 8 Ten:
Opened in March of 2008, Studio 8 Ten is located at 810 South Las Vegas Boulevard, adjacent to the Arts District. It is a 3,200 square foot art studio with a 900 square foot gift shop. The entire space is open to the public to shop and interact with the studio artists, see how the products are made, and even have the chance to participate!

This extraordinary project represents all the success the artists in our studio programs have experienced during their employment with Transition Services. (Transition Services is a non-profit organization providing meaningful work and activities to people with disabilities). Studio 8 Ten would not have been possible without the ongoing interest and talent of the individuals to take ownership in their business, work directly with other members of the community, and strive to have their own meaningful life experiences.

Viral Marketing Brings the Art Community Together
Studio8Ten's Face to Face(book) Group Art Show

Painter and Las Vegas resident, Bonnie Kelso, has been marketing her artwork through her Facebook account for about a year now. It’s about to pay off in an unexpected way next month at Studio 8 Ten, a unique art studio and gift shop on Las Vegas Blvd. She will be participating with 25 other artists in the Studio 8 Ten “Face to Face(book)” Group Art Show for the month of July. The show opens July 3 (First Friday) and runs through July 31st. Artist reception will be on Friday, July 17, from 6 – 8pm.

“I participated in a solo show with Studio 8 Ten before, and it was such a wonderful way to interact with the community while shamelessly promoting myself at the same time,” says Kelso. “This show will be especially fun because it will bring artists together for networking and will bring even more attention to the great things that are happening at Studio 8 Ten!”

At Studio 8 Ten, resident artists work on site. All proceeds from store and a portion of guest artist sales benefit the creative employment for adults with disabilities in the Transition Services non-profit programs.
